Mr. Linder remained Chairman of the Board until the company sold to Colgate-Palmolive in 2018.
We invested in Turntide, and Richard Linder sits on their board, due to the dedication of their CEO and engineer, Ryan Morris, and their board of directors toward solving the need for energy conservation and cleaning up our environment. Over 45% of the world’s electricity is consumed by electric motors. Today, half of that is wasted. Why? Because 98% of small motors in use today are based on 100-year-old technology: the analog motor. That’s about to change. Turntide has invented the first real revolution in motor technology in over a century. Turntide products use a fraction of the energy of traditional motors by deploying switch reluctance technology supported by an IOT platform. We invested in Outlier as Richard Linder was originally on the board of Bounce U and saw the extreme talent of entrepreneur and investor, David Tedesco. Outlier is one of the largest private companies in the US, but likely different than you’ve seen before. Outlier blends art and science. Great vision sets strategy. We invested in Polaris Real Estate Partners, and serve as a GP in the fund, due to the mission and vision of entrepreneurs Rob Abta and Travis Pascoe who believe that investor returns and high-quality community living environments can be mutually achieved for U.S. workers and their families. Polaris acquires multifamily properties throughout the U.S. Polaris’s goals is to enhance the living experience and enrich the lives of our most valuable asset—the residents who choose to live at our communities. Linder Labs felt passionate about Polaris' mission of providing affordable living around the country and through them we have invested in 7,000 units and growing. Supporting Polaris is another way we are able to improve lives, one family, at a time.
We invested in SafeCatch after spending considerable time with their inspiring CEO, Bryan Boche and his co-founders and scientific team. SafeCatch's mission is to provide consumers with pure and delicious seafood, while also protecting purity in our oceans, lakes, and rivers. Their technology platform allows for SafeCatch to punch biopsy every tuna before they purchase to ensure they have the lowest levels of mercury of any consumer brand on the market. This platform business will certainly have enormous impact in the world’s food quality. Their passion for quality, safety and sustainability aligns perfectly with Linder Labs.
We are investing in Ataje, as their CEO and Founder, Edrienne Brandon is an accomplished executive and entrepreneur who believes in building communities and unlocking human potential. She is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and blends her intellectual rigor with kindness and deep emotional intelligence. Her brand was inspired by the needs of her daughter who has black skin and needed help in solving issues related to eczema. Ataje is a direct to consumer skin care line designed specifically for the needs of darker skin tones in mind. Developed by an African-American led team of beauty and dermatological experts, Ataje is both naturally inspired and clinically formulated to nourish and clarify skin each and every day. Linder Labs has unique connections, lab relationships and international distribution partners to ensure these great products are able to improve peoples’ lives.
We invested and partnered with SafeTee Clean due to our longstanding relationship with their scientific teams lead by and owned by Ivana Veljkovic, PhD, with whom we have enjoyed entrepreneurial endeavors with for over 15 years. SafeTee Clean was founded over 60 years ago to create non-toxic alternatives to traditional cleaning products. Their powerful cleaners and degreasers perform the toughest, and highest precision, cleaning jobs safely and responsibly—without sacrificing anything. Linder Labs chooses to partner with brands that make safe products backed by science and that are used in a variety of medical settings.

We invested in the Rations franchise, a quick serve healthy food alternative, and this building location due to the talent and vision of the creator, Brian Laughlin. The first location is a modern spin on the classic gas station. With a full-service market stocked with traditional convenience items, Basecamp offers gourmet grocery items, sommelier-selected wines, craft beers and spirits. Basecamp features an in-store restaurant and beer garden. As a staple in a town where Linder Labs spends months out of each year collaborating as a team, the warm and inviting environment and amazing food brings ongoing enjoyment to locals and tourists alike.
We invested in WellBeam after getting to know their passionate and tenacious Stanford Graduate, Amee Devani. Every day, partner care providers and vendors interface with physicians’ teams to obtain essential authorizations and manage serious patient conditions. Third-party care providers and vendors include home health agencies, DMEs, SNFs, etc. These information flows have traditionally operated via fax and voicemail. By digitizing workflows along the care continuum, WellBeam helps deliver improved clinical outcomes, faster reimbursement, lower overheads, and higher revenues for our customers. WellBeam's commitment to healthcare and advancements in technology is completely aligned with our philosophy.
Linder Labs was a seed investor in SQN due to our over 20 relationship with entrepreneur and strategist, Amish Mehta. SQN invests in technology platforms across a spectrum of businesses. We partnered with Amish as he has the unique talent of having been a CEO and turned around companies with his hard work while also having one of the greatest minds in technology investing. We enjoy access to Amish’s talent as an advisor and this allows us to bring ideas to market through our platforms, including our ongoing effort with Health Academy that will soon transform healthcare delivery and greatly improve people’s lives.
We invested in MoskoMoto due to the intensity, drive and risk taking of the founder, Pete Day. MoskoMoto enables humans to get deep into the backcountry in distant parts of the world by supplying the most technologically advanced supportive gear and apparel. Pete Day believes that these life-changing experiences enhance the human experience and keep us young and healthy. Linder Labs invested in this company while in its infancy and have provided bridge financing over the years so that the founder and management team can keep their well-deserved equity and control in this important brand. We believe that when a leader like Pete Day has a strong vision every-one involved will benefit if we can be the scaffolding and support when he needs it. We are pleased to see MoskoMoto go from a local brand to worldwide distribution and partnership with BMW.

We invested in Infinite Health Zonedue to its founder’s, Dr. Neetu Ahluwalia, mission is to optimize your physical and mental health by creating integrative solutions; treatments that harness ancient wisdom and modern science. Infinite Health Zone will be a hub of information, personal health coaching, community, resources, treatment and healing, providing opportunities for like-minded people and experts to share compelling experiences that inform, engage and improve peoples’ lives. Dr. Ahluwalia’s life experiences and expertise include a strong interest in medical health and wellness, and he and his team deliver beautiful, natural aesthetic results. Further, Dr. Ahluwalia is a Stanford trained Anesthesiologist and Fellowship trained Pain Management specialist. He has also trained in eastern medicine philosophies and is an accomplished athlete who believes we should do whatever it takes to live our best lifespan.
We invested in and own the Mangy Moose property and restaurant alongside David Yoder in order to preserve and restore the iconic Jackson Hole, Wyoming establishment. Opened in 1967 as the Mangy Moose Saloon Spaghetti Emporium and Opera House, the Moose is almost as famous as the resort it sits at the base of. It opened as a restaurant and bar in the Village and was basically the only place for a bite and beer after coming off the slopes. Over time it evolved into a music venue, a spot known for rowdy shows and rowdier shenanigans, and is now being reinvented again as a place for locals to eat, drink and enjoy their apres hours. Linder Labs believes we can improve the lives of people who come into contact either with jobs and careers at this community center or by experiencing this historical place.
We were seed investors in GreyBull as it was started by a talented entrepreneur and author, Mason Myers, who saw the need for small and middle-sized companies to gain access to long term patient capital and partners. His unique fund structure allows profitable businesses to execute on their strategies without the burdens brought by traditional private equity such as onerous reporting and short-term investment time horizons. We agree with this philosophy and celebrate GreyBull’s impact on their partners and investments.
Linder Dermatology is a skin cancer surgery and dermatology practice in Jackson Hole, WY and San Francisco, CA. This practice was started by Jennifer Linder, MD, in 2006 with offices in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Linder is a Bio-Engineer and Fellowship trained Mohs and Laser Surgeon. Her practices have led the clinical trials that resulted in products that have delivered millions of treatments in over 60 countries. Her area of interests and trials include wound healing, lifespan, anti-aging, pre-cancer prevention and destruction, hyperpigmentation and facial rejuvenation.
Lane LaMure and Richard Linder are General Partners in this Jackson Hole, WY-based fund that serves to invest, preserve and improve local iconic real estate assets such as StageCoach, Mangy Moose, WorkCamp, Business Warehousing, BaseCamp, and affordable housing for the growing regional workforce and burgeoning diversification of the economy. The Linder Labs team enjoys these projects as they are a mix of conservation and modernization, working with local teams and improving user experiences.
We invested in Vertical Harvest due to the purpose and passion with which their founder, Nona Yehia, and their team drive the mission of this great company. Vertical Harvest of Jackson Hole sells locally grown, fresh vegetables year-round to Jackson area restaurants, grocery stores, and directly to consumers through on-site sales. Vertical Harvest replaces 100,000 lbs of produce that is trucked into the community each year. Our interest in this program stemmed from Vertical Harvest's unique commitment to employ people with different abilities, sustainability, and community. In addition to continuous support, Linder Labs hosts an annual fundraising dinner at Open Meadows Ranch in Jackson Hole to support this important cause.
Linder Labs invested in ChargePoint due to our strong partnership with Engineer and Entrepreneur Simon Morrish, Levitate Capital, and agree with our partner Michael Linse, Linse Capital, that electrification of the world’s transportation can clean up our air and improve our economies while eventually offering almost free transportation to the masses. This will certainly increase commerce and improve peoples’ lives. ChargePoint offers the most convenient and reliable charging experiences and they have done over 100 million customer charges. This investment and our ongoing partnership with Simon Morrish gives us exposure to engineering talent and creative ideas for the future.
Learning at Hamlin is purposeful, joyful, and expansive. Hamlin girls learn inside the classrooms of their campus and outside in the greater Bay Area: in national parks, museums, and online. Through service learning and community partnerships, Hamlin girls are taught that learning at school has immediate relevance in real-life. The Hamlin School provides exceptional education for girls preparing them for success. Richard Linder sits on the board of directors to express his passion for supporting future women leaders, and the Linder family gives substantially to this school to express their value toward supporting women’s equality and their belief that education can heal the world.
